Hi, when using “load more” how can I speed up the plugin?
At the moment the browser waits for everything on the page, shows “load more”, then shows “loading” and loads the posts.

I understand that this is because the initial trigger is set on page load. I’ve tried do it on doc ready and window load etc but only doc ready works. There is a lag.
On other websites I’ve seen the first lot of posts instantly load, then load more is clicked for more.

Is it just the way this one works by triggering a load more on the first posts that creates the lag?

    Hi Simon,

Our plugin triggers during document.ready. So, it doesn’t make much difference if you site is not heavy.

But you should take care of some settings for speed up. Like loading 10 – 12 post per load. Also, using thumbnail image as far as possible. This also helps to decrease the loading time.

    Thanks
