I want to replace the word “Loading…” with an animated gif. What’s the best and easiest way to do that?December 8, 2015 at 3:21 am #9167
That is available in our Pro version. In infinite scroll settings, when more post are loaded it uses gif animation.

Hi, yes I use the Pro version… where can I find this feature so I can customize the gif?December 8, 2015 at 3:56 am #9169
You can just select the infinity scroll option in Pagination Style and it should load without load more btn and shows gif animation when loading.

Thanks for your advice. Actually, I cannot use the Infinity Scroll because of the theme layout.
I am instead using the Ajax loading. And before the table loads, I see a “Loading…” text. I want to change that “Loading…” text to an animated gif that I have. How cvan I make this change?December 8, 2015 at 4:17 pm #9186
In that you need to customize the plugin core code. Which we don’t prefer. As it gets flushed when there is new update.
If you still want it to, we can send you the instructions to change it.

Yes please, I can adjust that in each plugin update. Please let me know how to edit the files~ thank youDecember 9, 2015 at 3:31 pm #9199
Please open file wmljs.js under wp-content/plugins/wp-masonry-layout-pro/js. In line 28, replace this line
jQuery('.wmle_loadmore_btn').html('<img src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/file-uploader/3.7.0/processing.gif" />');
This should change the Loading text to animated gif loader.

Excellent, works great! I hope in future versions of the plugin you can make this an admjin option to select the text or image to use for loading, especially since we are using multi-lingual website that needs to have no English like “Loading” 😉December 10, 2015 at 3:42 pm #9224
Ya that will be better. But i don’t think we are going to add this in next release. May be another time.
